Peter Lamb D.O.

   Peter has been an Osteopath since 1983. After practicing in Sydney he moved to Townsville at the end of 1986. He founded the North Queensland Osteopathic Clinic in it's current location in 1994.

Peter has been a past president of the Queensland branch and on the federal council of Osteopathy's peak professional body. He has had a wide variety of experiences in practice and has worked with several elite sporting teams and individuals including NQ Cowboys and members of the Australian track and field teams. He treats largely structurally with an emphasis on the soft tissues.

Dr Ann Lu

   Ann has relocated from rural Victoria and is excited to join the team and provide osteopathic care to the Townsville community.  She has previously practiced in Gippsland after graduating from RMIT University in 2017, with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Osteopathy).  Ann believes that education plays an integrative part in the recovery process, as well as reaching health and functional goals.  This is reflected in her thorough approach to educating her patients about why they are in pain, and how their tailored treatment and management strategies will help with recovery.  Ann enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions from many walks of life, and utilises both direct and indirect treatment methods.

Ann also consults in Cantonese. 


Dr Jacinta Siri

   Jacinta graduated from RMIT university with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and Masters of Osteopathy in 2014. She enjoys treating patients of different ages from children to the elderly using both direct and indirect techniques depending on what is required. Jacinta believes strongly in rehabilitation to help keep you pain free for longer periods where possible


Dr Jennifer Richardson

   Jennifer graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2006. She has worked as an Associate Osteopath in various clinics in Sydney, and as Principal Osteopath in her own Sydney CBD clinic. She has experience in treating a wide variety of injuries. Originally from FNQ, Jennifer has lived in Sydney for 30 years and has returned to NQ for family commitments. Jennifer uses a structural approach to her treatments. She incorporates a variety of treatment techniques to help you with your recovery, including Myofascial Trigger Poi
nt Dry Needling and Shockwave Therapy.

 Jennifer has a passion for exercise rehabilitation, and her degrees in Osteopathy and Exercise Science, as well as her fitness background, give her a profound understanding of biomechanics and exercise physiology. She incorporates exercise rehabilitation into her treatment programs in the correction of poor posture and injury prevention, with the long-term correction of mechanical dysfunction being her aim in treatment.


Dr Cara Trowell

   Cara graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). She has also completed further studies in Clinical Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) and Dry Needling with Manual Medicine Australia. Cara was inspired to study Osteopathy due to its holistic approach, her sporting background, and her interest in healthcare. During her treatment sessions, she focuses on locating the structural and biomechanical causes of injuries and addressing them. She utilizes a range of different hands-on techniques, lifestyle advice, and exercise prescriptions to provide a tailored treatment to each individual.

Outside the clinic Cara enjoys rock climbing, CrossFit, and going out for brunch with friends. 


Dr Jordon Nelson

B.Sc, (Osteo), M.HSc (Osteo)

   Jordan graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) in 2021. He has a Level 1 Myofascial Dry Needling and Cupping qualification and an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation. Jordan treats a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic pain management and various sporting injuries. He provides you with individual treatment and management plans to facilitate your journey to optimal health. Jordan has a passion for sport, with experience as a sports trainer for local and representative teams, and currently works with visiting NRL teams, providing the players with massage therapy.

Outside of the clinic, Jordan enjoys playing Aussie Rules Football for the mighty Curra Swans, cheering on the North Queensland Cowboys at home games and spending time with his two cats, Missy and Muffin.


Kate Tong


   
   Kate came across massage from a simple moment as rubbing her mother’s head and shoulders. Decided to quit her full-time job to endeavour into this interest of ‘touch’. In 2012, Kate completed Certificate 4 in Massage practice and the Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Massage. After graduating, Kate applied herself as far as the town of Ingham and worked in several local clinics in Townsville. Kate’s passion is her love and care of helping clients get back to doing what they love. The last three years has delved into Myofascial Release techniques to further learn and improve treatments for her clients. Kate challenges herself not only as a professional but in her personal development. In 2016, Kate competed in the Australasian Natural Body Building (ANB) Competition in Townsville winning third place in the Fitness Model under 35 years category. Furthermore, Kate loves daring outdoor adventures such as trail running and mountain biking. In 2022, completed a 27km trail run in the beautiful land of Thredbo near Mt Kosciuszko. In 2023, finished her first three-day stage mountain bike event in the wonderful world of Tasmania. This year, Kate is endeavouring another first, going overseas to participate in a trail running race in spectacular New Zealand.
